Advansys is pleased to announce the release of Archive To Go Version 2.0.

Major new features include multiple account (batch) archiving, faster indexing and secure feature customization using the new Admin Wizard.

Archive To Go Creator

* Batch Archiving

o Unattended export of multiple accounts using Enterprise Access mode.
o Export main account and/or default GroupWise personal archive.

* Admin Wizard
o New administration tool controls or presets key Archive To Go options.
o Simplifies administration of multiple Archive To Go users.
o Creates a configuration file for multi-user distribution.
o Distributed with an installer separate from Archive To Go.
o Wizard functions:
+ Modify an existing configuration file.
+ Add an expiry date to limit export period.
+ Include or exclude licensed accounts from export.
+ Hide Auditing Options in Archive To Go Creator.

o Added several performance and robustness optimizations.
o New summary log file in addition to the detailed per-account log file. The summary log file is located in the enclosing folder for archives, and its name includes the date and time of the archive process, whether single or batch.
o More detailed archive process logging, including folder count.

o Uses .NET Framework 2.0 as minimum requirement.
o Fixed several minor defects.

Archive To Go Viewer

* Updated look and feel to make it similar to GroupWise 8.
* Supports new folder types in GroupWise 8:
o Calendar subscribe.
o Calendar sub-folders.
o Contacts sub-folders.
o RSS
* Supports larger attachments.
* If GroupWise is installed but not the default email client, applies Reply/Forward to the default email client.
* Fixed error when flat-forwarding: omitted advisory text about obtaining a viewer for Advansys Portable Messages.
* Fixed error ‘Range check error’.

Archive To Go Finder

* Improved performance and appearance.
* Upgraded search engine.
* Search using leading wildcard * character.
* Includes an About box.
* Uses .NET Framework 2.0 as minimum requirement.

Archive To Go Indexer

* Updated for GroupWise 8 compatibility.
* Upgraded index creation engine.
* Much faster indexing (up to 10 times faster).
* Improved display of progress status.
* Enhanced logging of the indexing process.
* Supports larger attachments.
* Improved handling of attachments that cannot be indexed.
* Fixed error ‘Deflated stream ends early’.
* Fixed text encoding of index for PDF documents.
* Fixed error when processing an incomplete archive.
* Uses .NET Framework 2.0 as minimum requirement.
* Note: Batch indexing is not yet supported.
